SASAHOF update

With the IDO Hip Hop Break Dance Electric Boogie World Championships 2011 recently concluded, we thought we’d give you an update on how the South African dancers (many of whom are from DanceWeb) fared.

South African dancers competed against 37 countries in the World Championships and and are currently ranked 1st in the Street Dance World Championships, ahead of 2nd place finishers Russia and 3rd place Slovenia!

SA dancers brought home:
6 gold medals
6 silver medals
2 bronze medals

How DanceWeb began

In January 2001, respected performers Craig and Mandy Bullock started their own dance studio in Bryanston, Johannesburg. They named it DanceWeb, and in 2003 they moved to Parkmore in Sandton, where DanceWeb has been since.

From humble beginnings as a dance studio, under Craig and Mandy’s leadership DanceWeb has become a highly sought-after dance academy boasting an impressive company of dancers and world-class choreographers who’ve participated in top-rated reality television shows, corporate functions and prestigious world dance competitions.
